NOVOCS™-oplosmiddelen zijn siliconenoplosmiddelen met een lage viscositeit die snel verdampen. NOVOCS™ is bijzonder nuttig om de basisverf van Psycho Paint® siliconen te verdunnen, zodat deze met een kwast of airbrush kan worden aangebracht op uitgeharde prothesen en accessoires van platina siliconenrubber. Bij gebruik als oplosmiddel voor het verdunnen van siliconenverven of oppervlaktecoatings zal NOVOCS™ Matte een matte afwerking achterlaten.

NOVOCS™ Matte
- NOVOCS™ solvents do not contain VOCs.
- NOVOCS™ solvents are low viscosity silicone solvents that evaporate quickly.
- NOVOCS™ Matte leaves a matte finish.
Important - Shake the NOVOCS™ container well before use.
Materials should be stored and used in a warm environment of 23°C. This material has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible. Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize the risk of contamination.
Mix the A and B components of two-component silicone systems before adding NOVOCS™. Add the desired amount of NOVOCS™ solvent to create a thinner silicone mixture that can be brushed or airbrushed onto the surface of a cured silicone casting.
Example recommended proportions for use:
When added to Psycho Paint, add between 200%-400% NOVOCS™ solvent by weight
When adding to Sil-Poxy, add between 300%-500% NOVOCS™ solvent by weight
Because no two applications are alike, a small test application is recommended to determine suitability for your project if the performance of this material is compromised.
